Our Journey

VRA Health — legally VRAH Telehealth Services Private Limited — began its journey amid the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19, supporting hundreds of COVID and non-COVID patients at a time when reaching a doctor in person was hardest. Since then we have delivered thousands of teleconsultations to patients in India and around the world.

• 2020 — Founded during the pandemic. Officially incorporated in July 2020 in Telangana, India, we began by providing crucial telephonic and video support to patients using publicly available technology platforms.
• 2022 — Investment and our own platform. Backed by visionary investors who believed in our mission, we began building exclusive web and mobile applications for teleconsultations, serving international patients from countries including the USA, Australia and Canada. The same year we launched our Digital Clinic pilot at Hanamkonda and Hyderabad — audio-visual-equipped clinics that connect patients in tier-2 cities and towns, especially the less tech-savvy elder generation, with distant specialists.
• 2023 — Applications launched. Our web and mobile applications went live to an overwhelming response, bringing specialist consultations, digital prescriptions, secure chat and online payments together in one place. We also began development of an AI-powered assistant to help simplify and streamline healthcare delivery.
• Today. VRA Health hosts a growing panel of specialists and super-specialists trained at premier Indian institutes such as AIIMS, PGIMER, JIPMER, NIMHANS and NIMS, serving patients across India and non-resident Indians worldwide — with video consultations, digital prescriptions, home delivery of medicines and Digital Clinics.

People Behind VRA Health

Dr. Vannala Raju is the founder and Managing Director of VRAH Telehealth Services Private Limited, with Rahimthullah serving as co-founder and director. Since its inception in 2020, the company has steadily grown in both organisational structure and operational capacity.

In 2022 we welcomed two visionary investors, Suman Chelumalla and Sunil Chelumalla, who have been instrumental in our growth. Suman Chelumalla (USA) leads our International Operations, while Sunil Chelumalla (Australia) serves as Head of Business Development, driving strategic initiatives and expansion.
