Online gynaecologist consultation

Gynaecology and obstetrics cover women's health, pregnancy and childbirth. At VRA Health you can consult an experienced gynaecologist online, privately and from home, about periods, PCOS, white discharge, contraception, menopause, pregnancy planning and care, or ultrasound and blood reports you want explained.

Our gynaecologists

Our team includes gynaecologists trained at PGIMER Chandigarh, with UK membership (MRCOG) and fellowships in minimal access surgery and reproductive medicine:

Conditions we help with

  • Irregular, painful or heavy periods
  • PCOS / PCOD: diagnosis, weight, skin and fertility concerns
  • White discharge, itching and urinary symptoms
  • Contraception and family planning
  • Pregnancy planning, early pregnancy and antenatal questions
  • Pregnancy scan and blood test reports
  • Fibroids, ovarian cysts and endometriosis
  • Menopause symptoms
  • Cervical cancer screening (Pap smear, HPV) and HPV vaccination advice
  • Second opinion before a hysterectomy or other gynaecological surgery

What an online consultation can and cannot do

It can: give you a private space to discuss symptoms, review your scans and reports, start or adjust treatment, advise on contraception and pregnancy, and plan any tests you need.

It cannot: perform an internal examination, an ultrasound or a procedure – the doctor will tell you when an in-person visit is needed.

How to prepare

  • The date of your last period and your usual cycle length
  • Ultrasound, hormone, thyroid and blood test reports
  • In pregnancy: your antenatal card, scan reports and test results
  • A list or photos of current medicines and supplements

Second opinions and patients outside India

Many families use VRA Health for a second opinion before a major decision, or to consult a gynaecologist they trust from abroad. You can share reports, scans and discharge summaries before the call, and the doctor will go through them with you in plain language. Slot times are shown in your local time zone. Medicines prescribed by a doctor in India may need a prescription from a local doctor before a pharmacy outside India will dispense them.

When to go to a hospital instead

Online consultations are not for emergencies. Go to a hospital at once for heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, fainting, pain or bleeding in pregnancy, leaking fluid, reduced baby movements in later pregnancy, or severe headache with blurred vision in pregnancy. In India call 108 (ambulance) or go to the nearest hospital; abroad, call your local emergency number.

How booking works

  1. Choose a doctor below and pick a slot. Slot times are shown in your own time zone.
  2. The doctor confirms the request, and you pay securely online. The fee is shown on the doctor's profile before you book; patients outside India see it in their own currency.
  3. Join the video call at the booked time from the VRA Health app or your browser.
  4. Download your digital prescription and advice after the consultation.

You can also book on WhatsApp: send "Hi" and follow the steps.
