By accessing or using the VRA Health website or mobile application ("the Platform") provided by VRAH Telehealth Services Private Limited ("the Company", "we" or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2.1. The Platform provides access to telehealth and telemedicine services delivered by independent, licensed doctors enrolled on the Platform. The Company itself does not practise medicine; it provides the technology that connects patients with doctors.
2.2. You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, or to engage in any activity that may harm, exploit or interfere with its proper functioning.
The Platform is not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — for example chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness or a suspected stroke — call your local emergency number (108 / 102 in India) or go to the nearest hospital immediately. Do not rely on an online consultation in an emergency.
4.1. By booking a consultation on the Platform, you give your informed consent to receive healthcare services through telemedicine, consistent with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 (India). You understand that a teleconsultation relies on the information you provide and does not include a physical examination.
4.2. You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your (or your dependant's) health condition, and understand that the doctor may decline to treat, or may refer you for in-person care, where remote consultation is not appropriate.
4.3. If you book a consultation for another person (such as your child or a dependant), you confirm that you are authorised to consent on their behalf.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://vrahealth.com/user/help/view/83. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
7.1. Medical advice provided through the Platform is the professional opinion of the consulting doctor, given for the specific patient and consultation concerned. Full responsibility for the medical opinion — legal, medical and medico-legal — rests with the consulting doctor, not with the Platform or the Company.
7.2. Teleconsultations are a convenient and cost-effective alternative to in-person visits, but they cannot fully replace a physical examination in every case. You are advised to exercise your own judgement and follow the doctor's advice regarding any need for in-person assessment. Services are rendered to the best of the healthcare professionals' knowledge, experience and expertise, always prioritising the well-being of the patient.
The total payable for an appointment may include the doctor's consultation fee, a platform (site) fee that serves as the Company's commission for facilitating the teleconsultation, and a convenience fee covering charges imposed by third parties such as payment gateways and video-consultation providers, together with applicable taxes. The full amount payable is displayed before you confirm your booking.
You agree not to engage in any conduct that disrupts the Platform, including uploading or transmitting harmful code, violating applicable laws, harassing doctors or staff, or interfering with the security of the Platform.
All content and materials available on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos and images — are the property of VRAH Telehealth Services Private Limited and are protected by intellectual property laws.
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms and Conditions.
The Company may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have jurisdiction.
