Online infertility consultation
Infertility care helps couples who are trying to conceive. At VRA Health you can consult a gynaecologist with training in reproductive medicine online to understand why pregnancy has not happened yet, which tests make sense, and what the treatment options are – from ovulation tracking and medicines to IUI and IVF – before you commit time and money to a clinic.

Who should consult
- Couples who have not conceived after 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse
- Women aged 35 or more who have not conceived after 6 months
- Irregular or absent periods, or PCOS
- Known endometriosis, fibroids or blocked tubes
- Two or more miscarriages
- Male partner with an abnormal semen analysis
- Couples planning IUI or IVF who want an independent second opinion
What an online consultation can and cannot do
It can: take a detailed history from both partners, review hormone tests, ultrasound and semen analysis reports, explain the likely causes, plan the right tests in the right order, start treatment where appropriate, and explain whether IUI or IVF is worth considering.
It cannot: perform scans, follicle monitoring, IUI or IVF procedures – the doctor will tell you when an in-person visit to a fertility centre is needed.
How to prepare
- Your period dates for the last 3 months
- Hormone tests (AMH, FSH, LH, thyroid, prolactin), pelvic ultrasound and HSG reports if done
- Your partner's semen analysis report
- Details of any previous treatment: medicines, IUI or IVF cycles and their results
Second opinions and patients outside India
Many families use VRA Health for a second opinion before a major decision, or to consult a gynaecologist they trust from abroad. You can share reports, scans and discharge summaries before the call, and the doctor will go through them with you in plain language. Couples living abroad often use an online consultation to plan treatment before a visit to India. Slot times are shown in your local time zone. Medicines prescribed by a doctor in India may need a prescription from a local doctor before a pharmacy outside India will dispense them.
When to see a doctor in person urgently
Online consultations are not for emergencies. Go to a hospital at once for severe lower abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, fainting, or pain with a positive pregnancy test (it may be an ectopic pregnancy). In India call 108; abroad, call your local emergency number.
