What an online consultation can and cannot do

It can: listen without judgement, identify likely causes, suggest tests, prescribe treatment where appropriate, offer counselling, and refer you to a urologist or gynaecologist if a physical cause needs examination.

It cannot: perform a physical examination or tests; the doctor will tell you if you need these in person.

How to prepare

• A quiet, private place for the call, with headphones if you prefer
• A list of your medicines and any health conditions such as diabetes or blood pressure
• Recent blood test reports if you have them (sugar, thyroid, hormones)
• Notes on when the problem started and what makes it better or worse

Second opinions and patients outside India

Many families use VRA Health for a second opinion before a major decision, or to consult a doctor they trust from abroad. You can share reports, scans and discharge summaries before the call, and the doctor will go through them with you in plain language. Medicines prescribed by a doctor in India may need a prescription from a local doctor before a pharmacy outside India will dispense them.

When to go to a hospital instead

Online consultations are not for emergencies. Seek urgent care for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden severe pain or swelling, or if you feel unsafe or have thoughts of harming yourself. In India call 108 (ambulance) or go to the nearest hospital; abroad, call your local emergency number.

How booking works

1. Choose a doctor below and pick a slot. Slot times are shown in your own time zone.
2. The doctor confirms the request, and you pay securely online. The fee is shown on the doctor's profile before you book; patients outside India see it in their own currency.
3. Join the video call at the booked time from the VRA Health app or your browser.
4. Download your digital prescription and advice after the consultation.
